Veterinary Technician Support

We provide experienced, licensed veterinary technicians for staffing, team training, and CE.

The Perfect Solution for Vet Clinics

Relief Veterinary Technicians are in high demand. When a permanent technician misses work, the clinic team may face working longer hours and fatigue. The clinic may deal with revenue loss due to canceled surgeries and appointments. Whether it is for a day or a week or a month, Action Vet Tech Services can provide the temporary staffing coverage you need when a staff member misses work. We easily handle last minute labor requests due to unforeseen illness. Our services are customizable to your clinic’s hours, location and needs.

Wouldn’t it be great to have an expert come to work alongside your team and patients in real time, coaching them along the way? We can do that! In addition to our relief staffing services, we also offer a wide variety of training & CE options.

Testimonials

We strive to deliver the highest level of service. See what our clients have to say!

“Jacklyn has been a tremendous help when we need coverage! She always has a great attitude and doesn’t mind training newer staff. She is punctual, dependable and provides great patient care. Although she primarily helps our ER/ICU team, she never hesitates to fill in for our other specialty services. I highly recommend her and her services!”

Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospitals

“We absolutely love working with Jacklyn and her team! We have utilized Action Tech Services to fill in for shift changes and to cover maternity leaves. Always very skilled and professional. I can’t say enough good things about these ladies! Highly recommended!”

Quail Corners Animal Hospital

“It always makes my heart warm when I see Jacklyn as I enter the ER for another busy day. She always has a great attitude, can keep up with the pace of a busy ER practice, learns the flow quickly, has exemplary knowledge and skills, is willing to help teach newer staff, and keeps herself busy in slower times without being asked or told what to do. An asset and great help to any business!”

Judi Krauskopf, DVM

“I can not say enough wonderful things about the service and expertise we received from Jacklyn while she was helping us during a transitional period. She provided knowledge and teachable lessons to my staff which allowed them to expand their skill sets in both surgical and exam room protocols. If ever needed, I would gladly welcome Jacklyn back and allow her to help us again.”

Holly Springs Veterinary Hospital

“Jacklyn is amazing to work with. She is very knowledgeable, efficient, and passionate about her care. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her as a relief technician.”

Sharon Ammons

“We have had the pleasure of working with a couple different vet techs available. Their experience and professionalism allowed us to see patients we would not have otherwise been able to care for. They are life savers.”

Dr. Sabrina Grinstead, Eno Animal Hospital

“I spent a year evolving rural vet clinics administratively, developing HR, purchasing, safety, and staffing protocols. I was perpetually short-staffed with sometimes less-than-qualified individuals. I made use of Jacklyn and Action Vet Tech Services at three different clinics. Jacklyn is more skilled than most any Vet Tech I’ve seen. She fills both day and overnight shifts, and she trains my inexperienced staff when asked. She could probably assume operations responsibilities for an entire clinic if needed in a pinch.”

Sean Smith

“I just wanted to share that we loved having Tara with us yesterday and looking forward to tomorrow. She is quite pleasant and certainly knowledgeable and skilled. We ended up not being as busy yesterday so took it as an opportunity to show her many things in prep for tomorrow.”

Rebecca – Quail Corners Animal Hospital

“Lynsey has been amazing in her commitment and support of our Oncology Service.”

Hospital Admin, TVRH

“So very glad we found Action Vet Tech Services! As a new practice owner, their team has been instrumental in helping implement systems that keep my practice productive and efficient. My staff have loved having Chelsey Vanetten come in and train on anesthesia monitoring and techniques. She has a very practical approach and is kind and encouraging. She has helped us update our anesthetic protocols to allow for improved patient safety and comfort while empowering my team to become capable of problem solving changes in patient status from induction to recovery. The return on investment is ten-fold as my team has become inspired with their new knowledge to better care for and advocate for their patients which has ultimately improved our quality of care. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Action and utilize more of their services as our practice continues to grow.”
